wishlist #1 cray nails

Staying in London does bad things to this shoestring budget of mine: it makes me want EVERYTHING!!! So rather than parting with my cash, I'm trying to write everything down in a "wishlist"...this list will, of course, be never ending...but I like lists, and maybe it will help me prioritise (aka make my money stretch...somehow...)
Being in the More office, I am not only surrounded by amazing clothes, shoes and products, but I also have Covent Garden- my favorite place in London- on the doorstep, AND I get to read through lots of amazing fashion and beauty blogs to find trends. It's HOPELESS- too much nice stuff. Here's my wishlist of the week.

1. Next-level Nail Art
Those of you who know me in real life probably know that I am a little obsessed with nail art. Currently, I'm rocking these:

Bindi nails with eggshell blue lined tips and glitter

and before that, I had these done- understated but chic for a week which included both a funeral (unfortunately) and a party:
Nude almond shaped nails with heart tips

So hopefully now you get the idea. I like nails. "Like" being an understatement...and anything a little out of the ordinary or eye catching draws me in like a moth to a flame.
So you can imagine my excitement when I discovered this:

The "Caviar manicure" by Ciate is a revolution in nail art- simple and glamorous with an edge, giving us a revolution in 3d and textured nails.

Needless to say I LOVE these and can't wait to get my hands on a set!! As well as the black and white, you can also get a rainbow set- which to me look adorably like hundreds and thousands, but personally I think I will be going for the black. The colours look great with the light catching it.
Next on the list is velvet nails. These were actually on the runway way back in February, with MAC makeup artist Keri Blair creating the look for Ruffian at New York Fashion week.

Velvet is one of my favorite things to wear anyway (I may or may not be guilty of possessing enough items to put together a whole velvet outfit- including underwear), so I find these very exciting indeed!! Definitely on my to-do list, but these aren't actually on the market to buy. I may start out by experimenting with velvet tips- I expect it will take a few goes before I get it right, but this is definitely something on the "to-do" list!
Last but not least, another trend I noticed at the beginning of the year that I still haven't got round to purchasing myself, the Meadham Kirchhoff Nail Rock nail wraps!

I must admit I'm not entirely sold on nail wraps- I find most of the high street designs rather (dare I say it) tacky- I'm not a huge fan of metallic nails or wild patterns on every finger- but this is why I love these, the mix-and-match.

more wishlists soon...x
